How do you recommend I decorate my nursery so it can grow with my child?
Q: My husband and I are in the process of furnishing our nursery and there are so many options! Can you recommend some solid pieces that my baby won’t outgrow too quickly?

A: There are lots of great multi-stage options out there that are appropriate for both babies and children (especially since small babies really don'y know the difference anyway!) We have some really beautiful prints from Gale Kaseguma that are fun and colorful enough for all stages. Wall stickers are another great way to go because you can peel them off easily when it's time for a change. If you're planning on having more children, consider gender-less decorating that can be passed on to a little brother or sister.

Why do people always put mobiles in their nursery?
Q: My mother-in-law suggested I'd put a mobile in our nursery. Are they just decorative accessories, or do they actually serve a purpose for baby?

A: Not only are mobiles great décor pieces, they also provide visual stimulation for babies -- a great alternative to them staring at the ceiling all day! Most people hang mobiles over their crib, but you might also want to hang one over the changing table to distract your baby during diaper changes.
