A: The difference between the carriers is in the fabric which they are made. The Synergy is made of the light and breathable mesh where the Active is made of a canvas.

The Synergy is unique between the two since it is constructed of a breathable fabric which helps to keep you cool by allowing your baby’s body heat a way to escape, reducing heat and moisture. All the other benefits are shared in common with the Active. The added lumbar support increases comfort for you, as well as the wide shoulder straps that disperse your baby's weight across the shoulders. The Bjorn Carriers are fully adjustable for sharing between parents.
