The infant car seat weighs 9.8 lbs, and the stroller base weighs 14.7 lbs, making the complete system 24.5 lbs. But, since it breaks down in two pieces, it doesn’t feel quite as heavy as it sounds, and you can do it with one hand!

The Bugaboo Bee is considered Bugaboo’s lightweight option, weighing in at 17 pounds. Both strollers are very maneuverable and fantastic options for San Francisco, but if you’re looking for a compact, lightweight stroller option, I recommend the Bugaboo Bee. But, keep in mind, the Bee has one seat you’ll use from infant to toddler, and doesn’t have a separate bassinet or toddler seat option.
