The sterilizer is perfect for use at home with benefits like being able to fit many items at one time, and keep them sterilized for up to 24 hours. You also get features such as sound alerts, an indicator for when the unit is ready to use, and electronic countdown showing how much sterile time is left. The Quick Clean bags come in handy when you are away from home, or just need a quick 3 minute clean for a few items right before feeding or pumping (as opposed to the 6 minute clean of the Avent sterilizer, in addition to the preparation of the steam).
They serve the same purpose in slightly different ways, so there is no reason you can't take advantage of both products to cover all your needs at any given time!
