A: The manufacturer has had this item safety tested and received safety approval for children ages 3 and up. Due to the possibility of choking hazards, we cannot recommend this item for any age earlier than that which it has been tested and approved. A good alternative activity toy while you wait awhile longer for your little one to grow into the fun stage of kitchen role-playing that is also a favorite of many of our 18-month-olds is the Plan Toys Baby Walker http://www.giggle.com/p/21126/c/565/cl/614/Baby-Walker.aspx !
