What are the measurements of this burp cloth.
How many layers??? I note it doesn't seem to have a thicker middle but that doesn't matter if it is substantial overall.
I like the simplicity of it but just hope it is large enough and thick enough to be effective.

The Better Basics burp cloths measure 13.5" wide X 18" long, making them just the right size. The two layers of organic cotton which make up these burpies are highly absorbent even though they may not appear to be. They are our best pick because they're very simple, yet effective. We also love that they're super soft!
If you're looking for burp cloths that are a tad thicker, check out the Better Basics Pre-folded Diapers (http://www.giggle.com/p/21384/Pre-Folded-Diapers---Set-of-4-Organic-Cotton.aspx). The difference is that these have three layers of soft, cotton terry liner. No matter which option you choose, both will be sure to soak up any mess!
