A: Thinkbaby bottles and nipples can absolutely be sterilized, but should never be warmed in the microwave. In fact, microwaving ANY bottles may alter the state of plastics and compounds, potentially causing toxins to leach into milk. In addition, microwaves can destroy nutrients and create "hot spots," meaning some sections of the milk are hotter than others.
