A: It really depends on what you’re looking for. The Phil and Teds excels at portability since it weights only 6 pounds and can be packed in your suitcase or fit in an airplane’s overhead compartment. Our customers also love that the Phil and Teds cot is UV protected and can be zipped closed, so it’s great for outdoor or indoor use.

On the other hand, the Baby Bjorn Travel crib has a premium mattress and is considered to be the best “real” crib option when away from home. But the tradeoff is that it weighs 11 pounds, so it’s a little heavier, and it has to be checked as its own piece of luggage when your flying.

I recommend the Phil and Ted Traveller if you travel via airplane frequently or if you enjoy the outdoors. If you’re looking for a travel crib that is more like a play pen, or something that will be used often at Grandma’s house, go for the Bjorn Travel Crib.

I hope this information is helpful. If you have additional questions, just ask! I’m here to help.
